A close friend asked me if I would be happy to photograph his upcoming wedding in the winter of 2015, of course I said yes.

I was looking forward to the challenge of photographing in winter as most of you know, the weather in the UK around winter time is pretty unpredictable.

In true English fashion, the weather wasn’t the best, overcast cold and wet. However, the show must go on.

The church and venue were based in Esholt, Bradford, which is famous for hosting the set of the TV show Emmerdale at one point.

Despite the weather, everything went according to plan and I got the shots I wanted and the bride and groom were more than happy with the results.
