A friend recently got in touch with me to ask for my help with her music project she was working on with her fellow classmates.
Their project was to form a band and work together to create an identity, produce music and perform. In order to make it as professional as possible they asked for my photography skills to shoot some portraits of the band.
We had a few ideas on locations around Leeds, some of the moor run down parts near the railway viaducts also known as the dark arches were a pretty obvious choice given the band had an urban influence in their music.
We had a lot of fun on this little side project and I learned a few new techniques when it comes to portrait photography. I hope to use these new found techniques in upcoming weddings that I’ll photographing.
