Almost exactly a year ago I ventured to Thruscross reservoir close to midnight and temperatures touching near -3°, this year I decided to go back and hope that I would be blessed with clear skies but it wasn’t to be, thin and still clouds covered the sky but that didn’t put me off from trying to capture a nice shot.

The orange glow comes from the light pollution of nearby cities and towns.
