Sunny, clear and calm, those are my favourite conditions when I go to Harewood for the hill climb. Being July you’d kind of expect it to be super warm and sunny but this is England so the chances are still pretty slim.
This time around the Sunday was perfect, so I got to work and perched myself on the best spots to capture the action.
A few cars that stood out for me were the purpose built hill climb cars from companies such as OMS and Gould. These things corner like nothing else and the turbo charged versions are ridiculously fast when you witness their corner exit acceleration.
There was also a surprise for me in the car park area when I went to grab my bottle of water. It was a gorgeous example of an R32 GTR (my dream car), it looked fairly original too, aside from some Rays TE37 wheels and a couple of other tasteful parts.
