I haven’t been out and photographed a nice car for quite some time now, with it being winter and the weather turning extremely nasty it has been difficult to find an opportunity to get out.
My friend had just picked up her new car on the Friday and was eager to let me have a look around and to take me for a spin in it. Having never really taken much of an interest in VW’s I was pleasantly surprised at the build quality and design of the car as an of the shelf package. The interior, particularly the seats and trim are finished in a very nice tartan style fabric with red stitching to highlight the edges.
The exterior has an aggressive and chunky appearance whilst not being too over the top.
Factory fitted xenon lights add a touch of class and crispness to finish off the outside nicely.
Power delivery is good and it pulls strongly from the bottom end of the rev range right up to the red line whilst offering a subtle sporty tone without being too obnoxious.
I enjoyed myself photographing the Polo and I got to test out a new location which I had been waiting for an excuse to visit too.
